Today, 30 years ago was the first time I saw daylight.
6 years ago, was the first time, I was allowed to bring my camera to a concert. I never did photography/ videos in concert rooms before. Bach then, at age 22, I bought a camera to shoot my own content for the clothing I created and I never had the intention to capture music or anything else.
I was the kid when we rode mountainbikes that always wanted to make his friends look spectacular with wild angles and perspectives. That shaped my visual identity over multiple years. It started with a cheap digizoom cam my dad once bought. Over the past 6 years I watched videos, read books, magazines, etc to know everything possible about this craft. But the most important part was trail & Error.
What once was just a happy chance, showed me the opportunity to bring one of the cultures that raised me further with something I have an eye and the tools for. To actively create my vision into pictures.
These are my first concert pictures I ever took. Will never forget how this time felt.
Capturing the bands I was listening to all day long is such a privilege and I‘m very happy I had the opportunity back then. After 30 years and my 20s full of struggles, everything finally takes place and I‘m finding my place in life.
Still feels surreal after all these years that I have the privilege to shoot so many of my fav. bands that gave meaning when things felt off . Helping me through anxiety, depression or kept me motivated when I felt that the whole world doesn‘t understand the way I see things and I never felt that I‘d fit this worlds standards.
Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their visual appearance and the opportunitys over the years.
It really means the world to me.

Back in the days when @code_pandorum asked if we could film a 45minute live set in the back of a trailer to visually make the transformation from his former alias „InHuman“ into his side project @machinyst
Afterwards we had some great days in france and the netherlands for his debut.
We only had one take and a tiny room boosted with fog and red lights. The room inside the trailer was way tighter than I imagined. Always had to check if the cameras are still running and i had to focus to not cross the line with the gimbal. Would make a lot of things different now but it was one of the coolest things we did.
Ran the gimabal for 45min straight and my arms and shoulders were close to collapse at the end.
Set everything up, did the set and built it back down. All within a 4hr afternoon and no idea on how it will look like upfront.

I can remember the time when TP199 did the first ever double backflip on a motorcycle, and how I sat in front of my TV with eyes wide open - now they do this in practice multiple times in a row.

Was thinking a lot on how to place this Album for a matching vibe but then I saw the Backdrop of the Tour which was the DT Logo on green Grass out of the Music Video of „LEECH“.
So we kept it simple and placed it on green grass and I love how the colors work for themselves without any special placement and/ or lighting.

Shortfilm update: Halfway through but it‘s getting bigger and more complex with every Time I‘m into it but the drive is on and I hope to finish this until the end of may.

Had a very great time shooting fmx for the first time @nightofthejumps in munich.
Thx for the trust and the great time.
Had the privilege to capture my first world record by @marcpinyolfmx (15m stepdown backflip) .
Felt like 14 again, shot some of my childhood heroes and learned a lot more about my craft in a different field.
Thx to the production team, especially Sebastian for your advices and insights about your way of working and knowledge.
Also to Alex for a some great talks and the rest of the team. Very grateful about this.
Luckily made it to get a few clips as well and fulfilled my dream to capture aome fmx on my VHS cam.
