Deep. Deeper. gratitude. 2023- we put you to rest old girl. This is what the beginning of somatic healing, focused on calming the nervous system looks like for me with openness and kindness in my heart, reflection, reading, revisiting music, reconnecting with nature, grounding & safe sensory experiences, making sure I smile every day and photographing it for proof,more time with children, taking myself on dates and just being calm, small & Simple. The journey has just begun and is definitely circular, not linear but last year around this time after the “breakening” I began to enter the “slowening” and during this process had a miracle “break-through” (no pun intended) . I want to thank everyone who never Gave up on me. Who reached out when I disappeared and couldn’t answer simple texts, the people Who knew something was off and refused to let me slip into the abyss, but who also gave me permission to seclude in safety- the people who held space and love for me even if I couldn’t explain what was happening and needed solitude to recharge. I am so grateful to you all and as I continue to heal, both my body and spirit-slowly but surely, I will keep updating this journey. This realm can be a gift if you find the secret to unwrapping it- I am so privileged to be able and willing to have that opportunity now and begin participate in it in a much deeper more meaningful way. Much love and peace to everyone.
