So excited over @erikzajaceskowski new ceramics project, "Cash Money Prizes"
In these works, the pull of vintage comics and advertising takes center stage. The series of hand built urns, each with different “mail in games” and their prizes, are both a lean towards childhood nostalgia and a bleak nod at the psychology of investment and reward.
So excited we will be collaborating once again as @secretprojectrobot for a big show in the spring (announcements will follow)....

As many of you already know, do to the crippling cost of living and a real need for change, Erik and I are setting up operations for all future secret project robot plans in Portugal...
But just because we've succumb, doesn't mean that we don't still believe in the beautiful experiences that an artist community can provide in NYC... One of the final vestiges of our era, that will surely be a space to help young artists find their people, is not just @desertislandcomics but also its owner Gabe.
We spent many an afternoon talking comics, politics, art and bad ideas with Gabe, he is one of the brightest curators in Brooklyn, and if we can help save Desert Island, perhaps a little glimmer of hope still lies in the abiliity for people to mobilize against the money machine...
