Each vinyl record comes with a super limited edition risograph-printed lyric zine (designed and assembled in-house). Truly an honor to be a part of the brilliant and tender magic that Santiago and the whole Daphne Tunes crew have made.

Daphne Tunes is the mixed-fi musical project of Austin songwriter Santiago RD and myriad musicians from near and far. Drawing inspiration from slow Sunday mornings and cloudy skies, they make mellow guitar-pop with warm, lived-in arrangements - perfect for an breezy drive or a relaxed afternoon. Their first EPs, Volumes 1 & 2 were released to wide acclaim, noted for their relatable lyrics and ear-worm-melodies.
Vol. D is available on vinyl in the sunroom shop and will be streaming on all platforms tomorrow 💛💙

Our next daphne tunes tune, “when you’re around” comes out this week. I first demoed the song in 2020 and we recorded the rough track at Skinny Salazar’s garage apartment studio the following year. You can hear a lot of the intimacy of that time captured in these two little snippets. we were so happy to be in each other’s radius and cooked up a slow burner of a song about love
It’s hard to think we’ll ever capture that feeling again with the same weight of that time - that’s what makes this song so special to me . Really excited for y’all to hear it.
it’s been abt 5 years since we released new music and im excited to share that the drought is coming to an end
