2025 was a hard year. I said goodbye to my career, I said goodbye to the girl I loved, and I said goodbye to my friends for a long time. Shit did not ever turn out to be what I thought it would, but it turned out nonetheless. I struggled in a lot of ways, but I woke up everyday looking forward to seeing what would break next and how I could try to fix it. I made lifetime memories with friends old and new. I saw spectacular wilderness. I drove some rad vehicles. I learned a lot and I got really fucking dirty. To everyone who was a part of this last year, thanks for being there and I look forward to another.
Iāve always idolized the work of @jon_miner as he is truly one of the Greats in skateboarding cinematography. Iāve been lucky enough to call Jon my friend for almost the last decade now and when he reached out to work on a project together, obviously I was honored and on board. In accordance with Jonās vision and direction, @bradenhoban & I filmed a part exclusively at night (while filming his Catalyst part at the same time), putting a lot of thought and intention into light placement to really highlight the beauty of night skating. Shot mostly by me and edited by Jon, āInto the Lightā came out roughly one year ago. I thoroughly enjoyed these night missions and working with Braden and Jon and Iām proud of what we were able to accomplish together in such a short amount of time while on the road. This is my own mix of some of that footage to honor that timeš«¶
