It’s not the end of the day yet. Life goes on. It must go on. Heartbreak, burnout, disappointment… they linger in the corners, but the world does not pause. You open your eyes, even if they are heavy, and move as if today is just another ordinary day.
You pour your breakfast slowly, watching the milk ripple into your glass. Coffee spills; and you wipe the counter. You wash the dishes, feeling the cold water. You commute the same streets, hear the same horns repeat. You make the calls, then let them fall. You send messages you shouldn’t have to, waiting for a reply with quiet hope until sleep takes you. You cry a little when no one notices, laugh a little when everyone does.
The day stretches, quiet and endless. You are here, moving through it, letting the small things hold you steady. You open your eyes, even if they are heavy, and move as if today were just ordinary. You keep going. You keep trying. You keep going.
