Here are some pieces from my new collage series. This work touches on themes of communication, old technologies and discarded ways of being, and the ongoing impact of international conflict. At the risk of saying too much, I‘ll tell you that I‘m thinking about calling this series Mixed Messages; although in retrospect it all seems so clear.
Some recent work from this hibernation fever dream that has been the last month. Recovering from surgery I drift in and out of energy and focus, but my friends, scissors and glue stick help keep me on the track heading up and out ✨
Portraits from the last few weeks. I have been reading a lot of Greek mythology lately and wonder who these goddesses are, all with their one intact and uninterrupted eye. Eyes are symbolic of so much, around wisdom, insight, and connection with others. What do I need to learn right now? #monoprint #portraits #yvrartist
