 Today’s Day 1 as VP, Head of Creative @stockx — feeling grateful, humbled, and ready.
 They took a couple quotes from me that are out now, but let me say it plainly: Shit like this doesn’t happen in the Midwest.
 A sneaker and culture brand, born in Detroit, with global reach? That’s rare. Brands everywhere chase proximity to hype product, to music, sports, entertainment and more specifically, to Black and Brown culture. StockX didn’t chase it. They earned it. And I’m excited to help tell stories that reflect that credibility, rooted in community, culture, and a Midwest mentality. Big thanks to the team who brought me in @nickkarrat , @gregxschwartz , @grant__gilbert , @jgaines20 , @lizziekassab , @teamdelle and Dan Lewis. I don’t know if it was the Midwest hospitality or just good energy, but from day one the process felt right. Major love to @gerardo.creative and @ricrafvira mentors, family, and two people I’ll always try to keep pace with. They got hit up about the role and both said my name. They’ll say I got here off the strength of my work, and I did — but I also work my ass off to stand next to people like them. Appreciate you both. And to anyone else speaking my name in rooms I’m not in: thank you. This role also comes with another life move. After 10+ years on the West Coast, we’re heading back to the Midwest — splitting time between Chicago and Detroit. The familia is coming home. 📸 @blackwellcooper
