Last night was the end of a six year journey studying Adventure Filmmaking at UWTSD.
The subject itself was something that captured me from the start, but what really made the experience special was the support from the people around it. The staff across both media and outdoor education played a huge part in helping me stay engaged, develop confidence in my work and grow over the years both creatively and personally.
This film was created as part of my final major project exploring authenticity, storytelling and outdoor media through a photography workshop concept based in the Isle of Skye.
Very strange feeling knowing itās finally finished.

(Pancakes) For Idris
I made this film for Idris so he will always be able to hear my voice and see who we were before he could remember any of it. I finished it today and he turns six months old tomorrow. More than half a year of becoming parents and it really began long before he was born. I wanted this to be there for him whenever he needs it and for him to have a piece of us even if one day we are not here. Hopefully that is far into the future. For now it is something he can grow into and come back to whenever he wants. A little window into who we were and how much we loved him from the very beginning.
The day Idris turned one.
We went to Tenby, dodged rain showers, had food at @tudormount . Idris made friends with the staff by clapping hands at them constantly. He hate some crayons, some fish, some steak, and had a bite of my finger too.
Afterwards @jennaannmorris played sandcastles on the beach, you had a mouthful of sand for dessert. We had an ice cream on the way back. Idris had a bit of cone - itās his birthday after all.

Another lung buster, but this one was well worth the effort.
As always I arrived a little too late, and Iāll always wonder what I missedā¦ but I definitely canāt complain.

Missed my alarm, got excited by the snow as I arrived late and forgot to pay for parking, took photos, climbed slippery slope, took more photos (and video), bumped in to @sansonilens@wanderwithred , descended a slippery slope, had a parking fine, had a nap.
