With everyone coming together we have raised $10,529!
Funds have been sent daily to meet urgent needs, including medical aid, frontline emergency care, shelter, food, clean water, diapers and other children’s necessities, hygiene supplies, and medication, all supporting vulnerable or displaced communities.
This mutual aid fund is a centralised place where each donation is distributed across trusted groups addressing different needs on the ground.
Please continue to give and share where you can.
Communities in Lebanon are still displaced, their homes are still in rubble, and ongoing support and solidarity are critical.
This has been supporting the critical work of:

Please keep donating. Any amount makes a massive difference.
🇱🇧❤️🩹
Thank you. A thousand times, thank you.
In the past 48 hours, you helped raise $6,670. Every single share and donation has moved money directly to people on the ground in Lebanon. Those funds have already been transferred daily to the Lebanese Red Cross, Egna Legna Besidet, and Nation Station to meet immediate needs as they arise.
Over the coming days, donations will go directly to:
@humansofdahieh : Delivering food, clean water, shelter, medical aid, hygiene kits, and supplies for children to families displaced across Beirut and Lebanon.
@remanorganization : A grassroots organisation creating safe spaces for migrant women and their families in Lebanon, many escaping the Kafala system. They are on the ground now providing transport to safety, community meals, medication, hygiene items, and shelter essentials for those most often left out of formal aid.
This mutual aid will stay open if donating through a central fundraiser makes it easier for you to give.
Your generosity has made a massive difference, thank you.
Sending lots of love.
To make it easier for people in Australia asking how to support with the urgent humanitarian crisis in Lebanon.
I’ve started a mutual aid fund to make it easy to collect donations that will be sent directly to people on the ground in Lebanon.
We need you now more than ever to donate where you can and speak up about the massacres being committed by Isr**l.
Pay ID: 0452 615 766 (put “Lebanon mutual aid” as a reference).
The funds will go to:
Lebanese Red Cross: Providing frontline emergency care, including ambulance services, blood supply, and medical support to hospitals and communities under pressure.
Nation Station: A grassroots kitchen delivering thousands of meals to displaced people across Beirut and Mount Lebanon.
Egna Legna Besidet: A women-led group distributing emergency aid to vulnerable migrant domestic workers affected by displacement.
Our second Sahra was a night that will stay with us for a very long time.
From the line up filled with heart, talent, and intention, to every single person that attended, to the team at @jamsheedwines , you helped create magic last Friday.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
As @cynthia.k.raphael said at the start of the night, “as long as I’m alive, I will live.”

SAHRA: Volume Two is going ahead on 27 March at Jamsheed, and today we’re sharing our lineup - artists we deeply love and believe in, bringing music and storytelling that moves between worlds.
The fear and grief we’re carrying right now only highlights the need to keep building spaces where our community can breathe, gather, and be heard.
Lineup:
KEE’AHN • MEENA SHAMALY • PIA NESVARA
CHRIS ELIAS • NINA ROSE • WREN ARKOSE
LOZ IRWIN-RAY • SANAA • DANI MOHAM
DJ MATAB • NAHED ELRAYES
We will be directing proceeds from Sahra toward communities affected on the ground, and will share the details as soon as we can.
If you’ve been feeling shaken, angry, numb, or exhausted - you’re not alone. Come as you are. 🌓
Like many in our community, we are holding a lot right now.
The scenes everywhere from Tehran to Beirut are frightening, retraumatising, and heartbreaking, especially for those with family, memory, and history tied to this world now under threat.
It feels strange to continue posting as normal in a moment like this. We don’t want to look away from what is happening, or pretend it isn’t affecting us too.
To everyone feeling fear, grief, or heaviness right now: we are with you.
An update on Sahra on March 27: the event will be going ahead because we all need each other more than ever right now. It will be a space where we come together and share art that merges different cultures and experiences, and everyone is welcome. We invite you into a space to take up, relate in, and catch a breath.
Art and music are an extension of our voice and our experience of this world. The lineup of artists has been intentionally curated, and we want to continue facilitating and supporting the collaborations between the diverse artists working on the event.
We will be redirecting all profits from the event towards communities affected, and we will share more on that soon.
We hope to see you at Sahra and create this space together on March 27.
Sahra returns! 👀
Join Laymoon on Friday, March 27 at Jamsheed Winery for the second edition of Sahra, another intimate night of music and storytelling.
At the heart of Sahra are new musical encounters. Artists from different cultural backgrounds are paired into unexpected duos and trios to collaborate and perform live together for the first time. You’ll hear reimagined pieces, transformed classics, and brand-new compositions shaped through shared creative exchange.
This edition brings together artists across cultures for a conversation in sound shaped by memory, movement, and lived experience.
We can’t wait to share it with you!
