🔥 FROM 0 TO 8 gets @filmagency.northmacedonia support 🔥
We’re thrilled to share that our feature documentary project, FROM 0 TO 8, a film by Danilo Ceković, has received support from the minority co-production fund in North Macedonia. 🇲🇰✨
A big thank you to our partner Slobodan Trajkoski (Peak Production).
The project, previously supported by the Film Center Serbia, was part of the Ex Oriente 2021 program and won the DocsBarcelona Award at the East Doc Platform 2022 in Prague.

💥 ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM at @gradska_galerija@kcgrad / Summer 2025
Meet the participant:
Danilo Ceković
Graduated in film directing from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade. He is working on a feature-length documentary film, “From 0 to 8,” following a Roma boy named Ivan, capturing their unique friendship over 8 years. Besides the film, Danilo works with Roma children to create photographs for the exhibition “Finding Ivan,” showcasing moments and views of their childhood. This exhibition was held solo in 2020 at the KC Grad, supported by curator Ljudmila Strtimirović, and repeated in 2024 as part of the collective exhibition “ArtWeekend Belgrade.”
He is interested in drawing with oil pastels and creating works related to his inner world and dreamlike characters. He is preparing for the Artists in Residence exhibition at the Cultural Center Grad, where he will showcase large-format drawings and a motion puppet designed for an animated film.

Danilo Ceković je diplomirao filmsku režiju na Akademiji Umetnosti u Beogradu. Radi na dugometražnom dokumentarnom filmu “Od 0 do 8” gde prati romskog dečaka Ivana, snimajući film o njihovom nesvakidašnjem prijateljstvu u periodu od 8 godina. Pored filma, Danilo sa romskom decom stvara fotografije za izložbu “Finding Ivan”, prikazujući momente i vizure njihovog detinjeg sveta. Ova izložba je izvedena kao samostalna 2020. godine u KC Grad-u, uz podršku kustoskinje Ljudmile Strtimirović, i ponovljena 2024. godine u sklopu kolektivne izložbe “ArtWeekend Beograd”.
Zanima se za crtanje tehnikom uljanih pastela i crtežima povezanim sa njegovim unutrašnjim svetom i snolikim karakterima. Priprema izložbu u okviru Artists in Residence programa u Kulturnom Centru Grad, gde će izložiti crteže velikih formata i motion puppet lutku namenjenu za animirani film.
