Valley Table, dark stained oak for @vgoodandproper . We started with the Valley cabinets, and it seemed a good idea to make a simple table family from that. The chamfered edge lightens the visual appearance whilst drawing attention to the items they hold.
Sometimes it’s nice to share ideas. This is one that started as a conversation between myself and friend @jamiewolfond that turned into a project for his platform @jws_editions
Welded in twelve places, each weld simultaneously holding the clock together and indicating another hour on the dial. Jamie wanted to see if it was possible to make the form from a single piece of metal, held in tension by its twelve welds.
Expertly made in his workshop in Toronto by himself and his team. Limited edition of 50 pieces.
