MORE LIFE - FORM FOLLOWS: Our theme for next weeks show @clerkenwelldesignweek
We aim to demonstrate how longevity leads our every decision. From making in solid timber to the way we design to enable our furniture to be reused, refurbished, and reconfigured over time.
Really hoping to spark curiosity and foster dialogue...

We’re looking forward to @clerkenwelldesignweek on the 19 May, where we’ll be in our usual spot as part of the British Collection at The Crypt on the Green.
We’ll be showing how longevity informs every aspect of our work - from making in solid timber, to the adaptable designs we’re presenting, and through innovations such as our Digital Product Passports.

Christie’s Rostrum - A new stage for 260 years of auction theatre.🪵
To mark its 260th anniversary, Christie’s partnered with Sir Jony Ive and LoveFrom to reimagine their iconic rostrum, the physical and symbolic centre of the auction room. Crafted from sustainably sourced, centuries-old oak, the new design balances heritage with modernity, refining the object into a quieter, more considered presence that is “politely higher” rather than imposing. Designed in the round for both live audiences and global streaming, it integrates subtle mechanical details, from a concealed deployable staircase to precision-crafted steel joinery, while celebrating material honesty and craftsmanship. Rooted in the legacy of Thomas Chippendale’s original design, the rostrum becomes both a functional stage and a lasting artefact, embodying Christie’s ongoing dialogue between history, performance, and contemporary design.🖼️
Designed by LoveFrom, for @christiesinc , made in collaboration with @madebybenchmark

A glimpse into our workshops for The Spitalfields Makers Series with @universaldesignstudio , showcasing the joinery for Norton Folgate - a project that champions craft, sustainability and the collective creativity of many hands.
A reminder of the power of collaboration. Working with @universaldesignstudio and @britishlandplc from the early stages of the project allowed the designs to evolve and materials to be pushed further resulting in loose fit joinery that is demountable, repairable and made to last - with the hope that this flexible and adaptable approach will enable it to be kept for the lifespan of the building and not just the lease.
There are four other films in this lovely series featuring furniture-maker Lewis Kemmenoe; weaver Lara Pain and enamel specialists AJ Wells. See the @designanthology_uk feature online at /article/norton-folgate-shoreditch-films/
At 25 Savile Row W1, architects Piercy&Company and English furniture makers Benchmark created an environment defined by harmony and quiet refinement within the reception of Derwent London’s HQ.
Travertine extends from floor to desk, its lines mirrored in oak detailing. Fluted panelling and a floating staircase add warmth and rhythm, while leather seating nooks, crafted with Bill Amberg Studio, complete the composition
