I had the pleasure of speaking to attendees of Metamorphosis - a sustainable fashion event - about my practices, sourcing and process.
In celebration of Earth Day, @fashionmsp.co
teamed up with @opitzoutlet to invite designers to select damaged clothing from the outlet's bins and redesign and rework them into wearable garments again.
Held at @hewinghotel , I was invited as an industry expert. I spoke with guests about the full garment garment development process. Focusing on natural materials, sourcing from USA grown at much as possible, using a zero-waste printing technique with water-based inks, and making in small batches in Minneapolis.
