It’s official 🎉
I am now offering mentoring to female founders as of today!!
I will be honest, it’s been a LONG time coming, but it never really felt like the right time, until now.
After 6 years of building 3 businesses, I felt like I’ve built up a pretty impressive wealth of knowledge and expertise to help others on their journey
I’ve been there, done it and got the T-shirt 👕

Because you can’t build a successful business if you don’t make mistakes along the way, it’s how we learn, how we grow, how we evolve 🌱
So I want to work with female founders who have big ambitions, who want to disrupt the “status quo” but are feeling stuck or unsure of how to do that, we will work together to figure out what next steps they need to take to build a business that not only works for them and their needs but has a positive impact on everyone around them 🫶🏻
If your interested in finding out more I’ve popped an application form in my link in bio 👆
Let’s do this 💪

Did I miss a trick here? 👀
Working from one of our flockspots today at @megansrestaurants and spotted a couple of women working solo on their laptops…
I was SO tempted to go over and tell them about @flock_here but I bottled it 😂
Explained the whole situation in this video because now I’m genuinely curious would you want someone to come and say hi if you were working from a cafe? Or absolutely not?
PS. If you work from cafes and want a change of scene, discounts and people to work around…check out flockhere ☕️💻
It’s bank holiday Monday and you’ve forgot to schedule your content for the week… again.
I always think I’ll sort it before the weekend and then I don’t, and I tell myself I’ll just do it as I go instead.
Then the week starts, things get busy, and before I know it it’s Friday and I haven’t actually said any of the things I meant to say.
It’s not even that content is my whole business (even though it can feel like it sometimes), it’s more that when I don’t do it, it just sits there in my head and on my to do list.
And every time I do actually post, I feel better. Clearer. Like I’ve ticked something off and I can properly focus on everything else.
So instead of going into another week hoping I’ll just “be better” at it, I’m doing something about it.
I’m putting a small group together from tomorrow where we’re literally just showing up and creating content alongside each other.
Not overthinking it, not planning it to death, just sitting down and actually doing it.
Just having that space so the week doesn’t disappear again.
We’re calling it our May Momentum challenge.
No gimmicks, no telling you what you’re doing wrong. 🙄
Just a supportive group of people in the same boat all with brilliant things to share, who just struggle to actually get started.
If you’re in the same cycle and keep getting to Friday thinking “why didn’t I just post that”, you’re very welcome to join. 💪
Comment MOMENTUM or DM me and I’ll send details.
My biggest problem right now…
I have so much I want to say content-wise and it’s all just sitting in my head.
And instead of getting it out, I end up saying nothing…… crickets
When I’m actually creating content, I feel calm and grounded. 🧘♀️ Like I’ve said what I needed to say and I can get back to properly running my business.
But instead, it takes up so much headspace that I don’t post…
then I feel bad that I haven’t posted…
then I post for the sake of it…
and end up going round in circles…. You know the drill
So this is me calling myself out and giving myself a bit of a kick up the bum to just start.
I’m (loosely) calling it Momentum May, setting myself a challenge of posting for 21 days (because we have ANOTHER half term at the end of the month, and I’m putting a small group together from this Friday.
It’ll just be a WhatsApp group where we say what we’re going to post… and then actually do it, how exciting will that be!!
£10 just so we all actually commit.
So If you’re in the same cycle and want to get back into it too, comment MAY or DM me and I’ll send you the details.
Let’s bloody do this and get back in the game 💪
Disclaimer…. especially helpful if you’re in that ADHD / brain fog / peri-menopause phase where everything feels a bit scattered - this will be just what the dr 👩⚕️ ordered
What I’ve learnt over the last 8 years is that I work in cycles and rhythms
I’ve just come off the back of taking 2 weeks off from the business, spending time with my family
So it’s ok 👌 that I’m not diving straight back in and
that’s normal
I’ve allowed time in my diary this week to start slow
Because I know next week will be a sprint 🏃♀️
I usually work in 2 week cycles
👉2 weeks of strong sprinting — full of energy, full of momentum, showing up, being visible, attending events, selling, putting myself out there
And then the other weeks…
👉 I’m sowing the seeds, building things behind the scenes
nurturing what I’ve already started
Both are part of building something that actually works and now I help my clients build businesses that make money 💰
and do good in the world 🌍
Because we can do both 👌
If you’ve been feeling like you’re not “consistent enough”…
maybe you just need to find your rhythm
My DMs are open if you want to chat 💬 and from May I have space to work 1:1 with two more founders
Move over Hyrox, this is my cult 😉
Finally I got my PB of 120kg 💀
I’ve been putting in the work to get here so feeling proud of that, especially when it feels like your not progressing, weeks like this prove that you actually are 👌
Thanks to all the support and encouragement from the crew at @gymtro_stalbans if you haven’t checked them out yet, what are you waiting for? Get yourself down there and start lifting 🏋️♀️ your old lady 👵 body will thank you for it
Most people only see the highlight.
The wins.
The numbers.
The headlines.
But behind every founder… there’s pressure, fear, uncertainty and the quiet decision to keep going anyway.
This is what that really looks like.
THE FOUNDERS
Real journeys. Real builders.
Coming soon!
The Hearth x flockhere 🥳
I’m really excited to announce a new flockhere Residency at The Hearth!!
The Hearth is a beautiful women’s coworking space in Queen’s Park and exactly the kind of place I always hoped flockhere would partner with.
When I started flockhere, the idea was simple: women working flexibly should have more choice over where they work and more opportunities to connect with each other in real life, think of it as a flexible working passport that gives you access to places and people
These residencies are how we’re starting to make that happen.
We’ll be hosting small coworking pop-ups at The Hearth where you can step away from working at home and spend the day alongside other brilliant women doing their thing.
It’s a chance to work intentionally for a few hours, get through the things you’ve been putting off, make progress on your business or projects, and do it in a space where everyone else is focused too.
As part of flockhere, you’ll also get access to The Hearth beyond the meet-ups, with member perks that make it easier to drop in and work from the space when you need to.
Upcoming dates:
👉Tuesday 24 March
👉Tuesday 28 April
We’re keeping these small (max 8 people) so there’s space to focus, work and actually get to know each other.
If you’d like to join us, comment “HEARTH” and I’ll send you the details.
We did it 🥳
This week we celebrated our 100th booking on Flockhere 🎈
I’m someone who really believes in celebrating the milestones along the way, because building something from scratch can be slow, messy and uncertain at times.
Flockhere didn’t start with investment, a big team or a huge launch.
It started with a simple idea I couldn’t shake
What if women working from home had a flexible working passport, a way to discover cool places to work from, feel welcome opening their laptop, and maybe even bump into other others doing the same.
So I built it the only way I knew how
I crowdfunded, and I built it with our community at the heart and we’re growing it one booking at a time.
100 bookings might not sound huge in the world of tech startups…
But when every one represents a real person choosing to try something you created, it means everything.
Here’s to the first 100.
And to building this the slow, community-first way 💛
The sun is (kind of) shining ☀️
Hibernation mode? Officially off ✌️
This month, swap the kitchen table / spare room / same four walls… and come join us 💛
Because we’re building something different.
A new way for women to work, flexible, local and genuinely community-driven.
Think ClassPass… but for co-working. ✌️
One simple £25 monthly membership.
Not only are all our meet-ups included, you also:
👉Book work spots directly from our curated venue directory
👉Unlock perks like free tea & coffee or money off your bill
👉Access beautiful spaces you’ll actually want to work from
👉Become part of a micro-community, not just another networking group
And anyone who joins now locks in this price before we move to Version 2.0 👀
So if flockhere has been sitting on your “I really should…” list this is your sign.
Join today with our 14-day free trial, comment the word “March” and let’s get you started
On Wednesday 4 March from 11am to 4pm, join us at our dedicated donation station in Christopher Place. You will find us in Unit 4, opposite Hobbs and next door to The White Company.
We are proud to support Smart Works, a charity that helps women across the UK step back into employment by providing professional clothing, interview coaching and renewed confidence at a pivotal moment in their lives. As one client shared, “Smart Works helped me believe in myself again.”
We are asking for quality donations only. No tired or worn pieces. Think clothing that empowers. Shoes and handbags are particularly needed, alongside selected workwear that helps a woman walk into her interview feeling capable and assured.
We would love the St Albans community to come together and actively be part of International Women’s Day in a way that creates real and lasting impact.

People keep asking me if I’m against fundraising.
The truth is, I’m not.
I’ve always been honest about how much I went back and forth last year on whether raising money for @flock_here here was the right path. It took up so much headspace that, looking back, I probably lost about six months to it time I could have spent actually growing the business.
It was a total head f**k, 🫣if I’m honest.
Everywhere I looked, people were raising big rounds. They were being invited to speak at big events, going on podcasts, getting celebrated. And it created this narrative that you’re only really “successful” once you’ve raised money, like that’s the finish line you’ve been working towards for years.
But anyone who’s actually raised will tell you it’s just the beginning and it comes with a whole host of challenges we don’t hear about enough.
So at the end of last year, I decided enough was enough.
I’m not saying never, but right now, I want to focus on building flockhere sustainably.
And that’s when I created the The No Raise Club
This isn’t a “us vs them” thing, all founders should be supported and celebrated, whatever route they choose. And I fully understand the nuance when it comes to women and funding. With only 2% of VC funding going to female founders, I absolutely want to be part of changing that.
But at the same time, I want women to know there are other ways to grow a business too, without giving away equity.
The No Raise Club is about sharing ideas, expertise, and support in a world that mostly celebrates funding rounds and raise announcements.
Our first kick off call is on Thursday 26th, 1:30–2:30pm, If you’d like to join us, let me know in the comments, we would love to have you 🤗
