💡 You can experience each of these projects and more from Royal College of Art PhD researchers at the RCA Research Biennale 2025 at our Battersea campus from 21 to 27 February... 1️⃣ How is #Architecture seen by the ‘eye of the algorithm’? This project by our PhD Architecture student, Małgorzata Starzyńska-Grześ asks what #AI can tell us about architectural heritage by looking at two historical churches using 3D scans, Christ Church Spitalfields in London and Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Birmingham. 2️⃣ Sarah Britten Jones presents ‘The Uniscope’, a series of interactive props designed to help participants better understand an organisation from the perspectives of the people who work in it. Her project works towards identifying spatial patterns to plan for the future. 3️⃣ Tiago Patatas is an architectural researcher examining environmental violence and its spatial articulation. His recent practice explores green extractivism, in particular the eruption of lithium mining frontiers across Europe. 4️⃣ Daniel Durnin’s practice is rooted in craft, borne from years of innovating with materials and processes that are at hand.
