📢 2025 FALL TOUR: RECONSTRUCTION 📢

This November, we’re touring new music about reconstruction. A noun that means a thing rebuilt. A question that asks: how do we gather the pieces — of a place, a memory, a body, a name — and reassemble them? It’s about thresholds and what survives the crossing. And the quiet labor of beginning again. Lineup
Alexa Torres — Violin
Mario Wellmann — Guitar
Guillermo Lopez — Bass (@g_more_11 )
Daniel Dufour — Drums (@danieldu4 ) Dates
Sat Nov 15 — @flemingtondiy (Flemington, NJ)
Sun Nov 16 — @jazzforumclub (Tarrytown, NY)
Tue Nov 18 — @notsolatin (Philadelphia, PA)
Wed Nov 19 — @andiemusiklive (Baltimore, MD)
Thu Nov 20 — @takomastationtavern (Washington, DC)
Fri Nov 21 — @riversunsa (San Antonio, TX)
Sat Nov 22 — @monksjazz (Austin, TX)
First time in a few of these cities—can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re local, drop your city in the comments so we know you’re out there. We’ll be sharing more details soon.

Hi friends, I’m excited to share that my album *Aubrey Logan and Her Bigger Than Average Band* has been **entered for consideration** in this year’s GRAMMY® Awards in the **Best Jazz Vocal Album** category. Also entered is *“Airport Codes”* (a song I wrote and arranged with Mike Sailors) for **Best Jazz Performance** and **Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals**. Here’s a little clip from our session for that. This record was born out of my “student big band tour” — giving workshops at colleges, high schools, and even middle schools. To my delight, Gen Z is genuinely into big band music. I’ve seen fifth graders grinning behind trombones twice their size and college students swinging hard on charts they’d begged me to bring. The only thing missing was an album I could share with them. So, with the help of **an incredible band of world-class musicians led by Mike Sailors in Austin, TX**, we made one. I couldn’t be more grateful to finally share these charts in recorded form. Engineered by Charlie Kramsky, produced by Mike Sailors and me, and executive produced by MWO Records. The album features Benny Benack, III, arrangements by Gordon Goodwin, Andrew Neu, and Casey Brefka. I’m a blessed chick. With gratitude, Aubrey
