This weekend I pulled out all the stops on a brand new live set of original classic electro. I even snuck in some slow jams for an upcoming new project (more on that someday).
Headphones recommended. There is a ton of bass that doesn’t translate on phone speakers that the crowd enjoyed in the room that day. 😎

This is the Ditto. This was a concept musical instrument that I presented to @moogsynthesizers for their 2019 annual Hackathon event. I was part of a dream team composed of @jzheadley (also pictured), @jonaylor89 (also pictured), and Daniel Adams. I worked as lead presenter & artistic consultant while also designing and laser printing a cheeky logo.
The idea was to create a hand percussion instrument (in this case, a cajón) that would interpret performed rhythms into sequenced synthesizer data using the Moog Werkstatt as a foundational piece. We didn’t win the competition but we made it into the last round while definitely generating a lot of interest in the idea!
