Award-winning Daniel Bailey, formerly associate artistic director at London’s Bush Theatre, joins the Roots Mbili Theatre team ahead of next February’s run. Daniel has a wealth of experience in directing for stage and screen, including in London’s West End, America, and for Channel 4. He is also a dramaturg, writer and winner of The Stage Debut Award for Best Creative West End Debut. Daniel will bring our vision for Never Look Back, a historical fiction retelling the story of African soldiers who fought for Britain during World War Two, to life on stage.
