Really excited to be able to announce that one of my photographs has been included in the @portrait_of_humanity 2020 Shortlist, and will be in the accompanying book published by @hoxtonminipress as well as being exhibited and sent into SPACE through binary code with @sentintospace . The winning images that are exhibited world wide will be announced later this year in September. .
The image was taken in Paris outside of Notre Dame before the horrific fire that overwhelmed the building. .
A massive thank you to all the judges involved in this year's competition, @viristvan@joesidek.co@_mallorybenedict@huntforcaroline@carolallenstorey@simon_bainbridge as well as @bjp1854 for putting it together and showcasing some of the most powerful and beautiful imagery created around the world, and can't quite believe one of my photos is included in that! .

.Spent my evening journeying through Japan via my hard drives, was good to be reminded of the trip and also to rediscover some images I obviously didn't think much of at the time.

Was lovely getting to work with Lenny Henry again as he came out of retirement to help introduce the show for Red Nose Day 2026.
He brought so much energy to the set, lifting everyone around him, and reminding us all why he's been at the heart of Comic Relief for so many years!

Have been a massive fan of the show Motherland and the spin off Amandaland, so it was a huge pleasure to be able head along to the shoot for the hilarious sketch as part of Red Nose Day 2026. If you haven't had a chance to watch it please do, you won't be disappointed, it includes a mighty cast of Amanda's, including the TV legend Amanda Barrie who at 90 was an absolute star!

Country Ramble, 2025.

For years, I've caught glimpses of this tree from the train to the North Kent coast, quickly grabbing my phone to try and capture it. This year, Emily, Sid, and I went on a mission to find it. We drove down the A2, used train stations as landmarks, and took a guess or two. Finally, we found it! A sheepish walk down a private road led us to a public right of way, and to the railway line where we'd admired the tree for so long. The harvested wheat left it standing alone in a barren field, giving it a darker, more somber tone than the sunny summer months.

These were shot earlier this year in June, the intention with these was to actually go back and shoot more to make a typology in the same or similar overcast conditions as the first one. I headed back later in the year around mid Septemeber, only to find they must be seasonal as all had been taken down from along stretch of coast. This is something I will probably look to do next year, so for now here is a triptych.
