@xrmotion and @artechouse teamed up this past week to bring together hundreds of folks from the New York digital art community to experience large scale art together. It was so lovely to see so many different niche creative tech communities just enjoying art and catching up.
It was especially rewarding to host after the success of our First XR Motion Conference and enjoy all the new connections continuing to show up from student volunteers, incredibly talented artists presenters, and XR educational leaders!
Plus it was such a blast running around snapping pics in this wash of scale, color, and simply immensely stunning works projected and mapped with such care powered by @otoy and @rendertoken What a night 🌚

Beyond grateful to have attended MIT #RealityHack2023 I learned so much and was floored by the amount of positivity, support, and knowledge that flowed so freely at the Media Lab over the weekend.
My group had a blast working on an #ar collective memory sculpture on the new #vivexrelite with #unity #vfxgraph NLTK libraries and various #ML speech-to-text, text-to-sentiment models. We learned so much, not only about tools but also about prototyping, team-building, and the importance of mentorship.
Huge thanks to @lookingglassfactory for giving us a reason to pause hacking and document our team in the most futuristic of forms aka holograms!

Strung together some special Procreate, hand-painted portraits, and animated them with a frame interpolation ML model. The water color look was super unexpected and beautiful!

Waiting for access to the new @genies creator app, I couldn’t help but play around with some original outfit ideas. In a digital space, I find myself thinking back to the video games and animations I played/watched growing up. Wasn’t a huge gamer but Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, and Hot Wheels was my jam! Here’s a little mood board/simple sketch of a carmen-inspired fit.
