Excited to be able to share this! I was approached by @apple to create a custom illustrated Apple logo for their May 7 iPad event. The logo was created 100% on the #iPad using #applepencil and @procreate . As a long time fan and user of Apple products, this has definitely been a career highlight and such a fun project to work on. Thank you Apple!

A collaborative project on every level, we worked with the brilliant @danforster to craft the Doh! wordmark.   Designed to represent the craft of baking, the fluidity of the wordmark and its playful flourishes reflect the softness of dough and the squidginess of the centre of a perfectly baked cookie. Dohlicious!

To wrap up 2025, it was a pleasure to work with @elmwood.global recently on a series of V monograms as part of their creation of an ‘Own Brand’ for Very. Uniting fashion and home under one cohesive identity, the monograms needed to have a sense of ‘Flair, Fashion and Fabulousness’ about them - imbuing playfulness and elegance while at the same time conveying the variety and stylish combinations the Collection offers. Big thanks to Elmwood team for getting me onboard.

I was delighted to be asked by the team at @forepoint to play a part in their project to reposition the town of Barrow-in-Furness. The town is undergoing a once-in-a-generation transformation that will redefine its future and play a vital role in the UK’s economy, industry and national security. My role was to design a custom wordmark and sans-serif typeface, ‘Barrovian Sans’, in three weights. The brief for the typeface was firstly to reinforce the sentiment of ‘Barrow Rising’ – the core concept of the brand – while capturing a modern interpretation of industrial heritage. It needed a bit of ‘grit’, but without being too hard or rustic. It also had to work alongside the master ‘rise mark’. Designed by Forepoint, the ‘rise mark’ is deeply rooted in Barrow’s heritage, drawing inspiration from the iconic bows of the submarines and ships built in the local shipyard and the elegant arches found in the town’s period architecture. Big thanks to the Forepoint team for getting me onboard. A full case-study on the project can be found on their website. Also, credit to @typespec for the font production assistance.

It was a pleasure to work with the team at @clout_branding recently, helping to craft their new brandmark. Comprised of an arrow embedded in the counter-shape of the C, the symbol represents precision – not just in execution, but in intention – signalling clarity and impact. See Clout’s website for the full rebrand story.
Thanks to Clout for getting me involved!

Always a pleasure to work with the team at @brandon_consultants - this time helping to craft the wordmark for Pilgrims Choice. The goal was to create a clean and contemporary wordmark, building brand distinctiveness and helping to create a commanding visibility on shelf. Thanks to Brandon for getting me onboard. Beautiful packaging work by the team and great to see them out in the world. Check out more about the rebrand on their website 🧀

Delighted to share another recent project working with @elmwood.global . This time helping to redesign the wordmark as part of their own global brand refresh. The new identity aims to help brands cut through the noise with purposeful, cohesive storytelling which focuses on getting clients from intent to impact – faster. This idea of intentionality is reflected in the shape language of the new brand. Lead by a more purposeful ‘e’ marque – cutting through the noise and confusion with bold strikes. This approach is then echoed in the serif shapes and other angular forms throughout the wordmark. Thanks to the Elmwood team for getting me onboard.

ABCXYZ. An experimental sort of mega-ligature (mega-ture?), just for fun. First sketched this in 2022. Thought it was about time to finish it! Process (in order): procreate > Illustrator > Dimension > Photoshop. Happy Friday folks ✌️😉

It was great to work with my good friends at @elmwood.global designing this bespoke cheeky typeface – ‘Chew La La’. This was part of their project to reposition the Mars global gum brands Orbit, Extra, Freedent and Yida in each market under one unified look, tone and feel, with a focus on a Gen-Z audience. The type is inspired by the rhythmic motion of chewing – the characters stretch and bend, with ink traps that reveal hidden smiles and winks. It was a super-fun project to work on. Big thanks to the Elmwood team for getting me onboard. Also, credit to @typespec for the font production and @gtypefoundry who created the caps, figures, punctuation and also font production.

Super-happy to say that ‘Hello Handsome!’ has been awarded a #TDC71 certificate for typographic excellence by @typedirectors ✨🙌 I remember as a young design student spending hours looking through my Dad’s collection of TDC books, many of which featured his awarded type and lettering work. So it’s pretty cool to be able to join him years later! ‘Hello Handsome!’ is a personal experimental study of the Spencerian script form, which was then built on with dimensional decorative elements. The process went from Procreate > Illustrator > Photoshop. I later stumbled across the stats page in Procreate (which I hadn’t seen before). This revealed that I’d made 10,024 pen strokes, with a total drawing time of 31hrs 56mins 😳. But then it was onto Illustrator and Photoshop for more hours… So all in, it’s fair to say that this one took me a little while. But these are the kind of projects I love to bury myself in. For me the process is the most enjoyable and rewarding part of all. Spending hours wrestling with shapes and curves, swinging from meditative bliss to near pen-snapping frustration, until eventually reaching a point where things start to fall into place. So it was interesting to see the stats—a little reminder that craft and making work that you’re proud of takes time. And really… so it should! ✍️ Thanks again TDC! 🙏
