It’s been 17 years since I delivered my first lines as a tiny prepubescent pirate with big dreams. This April, for the first time I got a chance to work with a professional crew of truly epic proportions. Getting paid to swing steel and deliver poetic scripts for two films in one weekend? Yez. As first impressions go, it was pretty much the bomb (a confetti bomb of epicness). But a close second was: this lovely group of people, “camping” in the woods and watching ridiculous sword fighting!!

That’s a wrap on “FATED”. This is easily one of the best teams I’ve ever worked with. Everyone approached these projects with a great sense of professionalism, grace, love for the craft, and passion for storytelling. It’s an amazing story of how something small such as a conversation at @contentmediaconference can lead to a great story and God can be glorified through it. Thanks to my incredibly talented Producers, Directorial team, Crew, and Talent for bringing this to life! And thank you Lord for another opportunity to direct a short film!

Making movies with friends….would pick this over being on a big Hollywood set any day! There is unity, compassion, laughter, collaboration and so much grace on indie sets with small crews. And so so much heart! Till the next one! Cheers!

Listen….can’t even begin to explain how INSANE this experience was! One of my favorite sets I have ever been on to this date! All of the people there were the best at what they did and everyone was kind beyond expectations. First time scripty and loved it…even doing it with a broken fibula 💃 Being on set always reminds me that we are not meant to live this life alone, and we are all apart of something bigger than ourselves.
