In your 20s you’ll challenge yourself to adapt Strictly dances… it’s VERY important that you go for it! I know I’m ridiculously late to this trend but I had to do it. Half way through our first year of online troupe @katestanforthdance and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it’s going! I think our dancers should all be so so proud of themselves, I couldn’t help but smile putting together each and every one of these videos and just needed to show you them all together. Sorry for ghosting, I have been poorly with my health (grrr winter flare ups) and haven’t danced in over six weeks, so you’ll have to excuse the dust from my wheelchair. Adapting Strictly Dances… Can’t believe it’s almost over again! I wanted, desperately, to do at least one more dance but my body had other plans so we’ll have to end it here for now. From adapting the launch show celebrity group dance, to taking on 11 weekly dances (from 9 of the couples, in 10 different styles), plus a Diversity x Strictly pro number, to recreating the brand new challenge that is Instant Dance! One of my videos was shown on It Takes Two, I was featured in the news and I recieved a Hans award from The Last Leg! WOW, what a season it has been… I’ve had the best time, as always. IT’S HERE! Adapting Strictly Dances - Instant Dance On Wheels . As someone who hates improv, this was actually a really fun challenge- turns out if you put a strictly theme on something it’s suddenly not so bad! I actually ended up dancing for quite a bit longer than 40 seconds (i may have forgotten to ask my sister- who made the cards, chose the music and helped me film, to time me along with her many producing responsibilities) but I thought we’d stick to the official Strictly Come Dancing rules, so cut off the second half of my routine. I wish I had the energy to keep going and picking more cards until I completed every dance style, I honestly enjoyed it that much! It wasn’t perfect but for once I just went with it and enjoyed the chaos, just like everyone on the show did.
