🌀 Dancing Histor(y)ies at an international conference in Poznań! 🇵🇱 On 19–20 March 2026, Dancing Histor(y)ies was presented at the International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference “Society, Education, and Culture in Turbulent Times”, hosted by Adam Mickiewicz University. ✨ The project was showcased during the plenary session by Polski Teatr Tańca (Polish Dance Theatre), highlighting how Dancing Histor(y)ies connects communities, heritage, and contemporary dance in times of social change. 🌍 Bringing together a wide network of universities, cultural institutions, and international partners, the conference created a space for dialogue on the role of culture and performing arts in today’s world. 💬 Through this exchange, DH once again demonstrated how movement can bridge communities and activate heritage. 💃 Dance. 🌀 Dancing Histor(y)ies in action in Poznań! 🇵🇱 In September 2025, the project came alive in Poznań through a series of inspiring activities connecting young artists, heritage, and contemporary dance, thanks to our @polskiteatrtanca 📍 13 September 2025 — European Heritage Days, organized by the Polish Dance Theatre in collaboration with the Genius Loci Archaeological Reserve Participants joined a co-creation workshop “Movement, Thought, Memory”, exploring how dance can activate archaeological sites and bring new meanings to the past. 📍 22 September 2025 — DH Model session at Polish Dance Theatre Young freelance artists discovered the Dancing Histor(y)ies methodology, diving into themes of co-creation, community, inclusion, and artistic collaboration. ✨ Through workshops, performances, and discussions, Poznań became a space where memory, movement, and heritage meet — inspiring new creative processes. 💃 Dance.
