Afro-techno: Polyrhythms of life converge, Merge beyond skin and soul, We dance as one. Our first round of artists and recordings are being prepared with love and due care from recordings taken from @freshlov3_strobe and @omusumba_wa_uganda from tours in 2025 across Uganda. Kennedy sadly passed away in a road accident in the autumn, and we dedicate this label to his life's work which saw over 400k souls touched with faith and music.

Landed back from my Uganda tour 2025 Different church every day all the way from Kampala to Mbale training a new generation of people to use electronic music in a pure way. Dance music is pure and collectively a beautiful experience, and its so good to play daytime places where its just about the music. Ita a joy to see how movement gives rise to freedom, and seeing people free in worship and having beautiful experiences was a joy. Played at @undergroundkampala and @otters_kampala bringing a live gospel flavoured acid techno set. Going straight from a night party to church in the morning is a really good vibe can 100% reccomend. Im sure you can recall the first time you heard electronic music. Theres something aspect of the sound that captured your soul and pointed you towards a future where humanity moves as one. For me that was hearing @faithlessofficial "We Come One" when I was 12 on a TV advert. Something clicked inside my mind and I wanted to do what that sound carried. Here I am 20 years later getting to spread that similar sound, TR8 and 303 in the style of @djpierrephuture to central Africa. The most amazing thing was seeing how the jigsaw puzzle pieces were beautifully arranged, Lingala music (which is standard beat in church music here) originating from Congo is played at around 132BPM, with the same polyrhymic patterns as techno. Could not have planned it if I had tried. Just goes to show you following the guidance of the spirit does far better than we could imagine. Thanks to Kennedy, Moses, James, Richard, and all the beautiful souls that made the trip happen. See you next year and big Lov3

Live techno set at @otters_kampala with the machines last Saturday before we rolled through to church at 7am. Music is pure, joyful, energetic. Ugandans are really open to rhythm, much more so than our overly rational genre and subgenre pigeonholing in "developed" countries. If it feels good, you move. Why does it need to be more complex? Last Sunday, Kirinya, Kampala, did 3 services back to back after an all night session at @undergroundkampala Techno to the world 🌎 ✨️ in all its forms One of the reasons I love electronic music is there isn't really a right or wrong way to do it, just what makes people move. Live experimentation with fusing this with African style keys gives it a totally different feel over the core beats 💓

A little jam for the UNCC National Theatre to demonstrate how to use electronic music yesterday. Synergy between the minimalist sounds and brutalist "tropical minimalist" architecture of the 1950s.
