Long overdue I made an updated version of this bc I’ve learned more since the last time These are the iPhone camera settings (I’m on a 15 Pro) that I personally use/recommend. But an fyi that it is all personal preference and I know I am not a professional videographer by any means 🚨 The golden rule as always: clean your camera lens. Buy lens wipes + microfibers (I get on Amazon). Before every show, I use a lens wipe and then throughout the show, I use a microfiber to make sure the camera stays clean Go to Settings > Camera for most of these ▪️IG/TikTok only support up to 1080p/60 fps (Twitter now supports 4k) but I record in 4K/60fps bc it still looks better even after being compressed (just be aware this takes up a lot of phone storage) ▪️Use AE/AF lock to make sure the camera always stays in focus in darker settings. When you start recording, hold down on whatever your target is until it says AE/AF lock is on. More needed at night and less during day but use best judgement ▪️Turn HDR off if you’re taking videos to post on IG/TikTok (they don’t process HDR well so this is why videos end up looking brighter/emojis get greyed out) ▪️Change your sound to record in mono audio. The iPhone has multiple mics so when stereo is on, it picks up all around you and captures more crowd noise. When mono is on, it’ll capture more of what you’re pointing the phone towards ▪️Turn Auto FPS off so it always records at 60 fps ▪️Lower exposure to -1.0 (this is the +- icon in the camera app). This helps capture visuals/lighting better ▪️Preserve settings: camera mode on (this allows you to stay on video every time you open the camera app) and exposure adjusment on (so you don’t have to set it each time) ▪️Grid setting on to keep video centered + level setting on to keep video balanced (these will both appear while recording) ▪️I use a PopSocket to help with steadier videos. You just stick it onto the back of your phone case. They’re $10 on Amazon (PopSockets Phone Grip) ▪️On IG, go to settings > media quality > upload at highest quality If any actual photographers/videographers have more insight into any of this, feel free to comment

@crankdat swapped the desert for the mountains this weekend coming to @gather_outdoors all the way up in Vermont and he dropped his newest remix of @johnsummit & @juliawolfnyc ’s “WITH ME” I’d have to say this is probably the hardest dubstep Vermont has ever seen and the crowd loved it, the energy was there for his entire set. He also played his newest version of “STFU” and closed out with one of his unreleased IDs which was a great way to end the day. I can’t give enough praise to @weareparisi for their live set at @ultra 2026. These guys are legends if you ever have the chance to see them don’t miss out. I love a live set and it was almost guaranteed that this would be one of my favorite sets at the festival but I was still blown away. The remixes of @fredagainagainagainagainagain tracks like OKOK were insane and then to play Verdis Quo with a transition into This Is Real made me feel like I was at @thomasbangalter b2b @fredagainagainagainagainagain If you didn’t catch this set at @ultra you definitely missed out. @marcoparisi is a magician on the keyboard. #edm #daftpunk #fredagain #parisi #dancingastronaut

Now that @prospa__ has announced their full “Free Your Mind” album it’s time for a mandatory watch of the duo dropping the single “Free Your Mind” while going b2b with @cloonee at @factorytown_ during MMW. This has been a hugely anticipated album finally coming almost ten years after their first track dropped. @prospa__ has been on fire with all their latest releases and we couldn’t be more excited to get their first full LP on June 5th. A set 20 years in the making. @swedishhousemafia at @ultra 2026 was the trio’s magnum opus. With music spanning the entire careers of @axwell , @sebastianingrosso and @steveangello , they showed off the hits that made them legends while proving they haven’t missed a step after all this time. Ingrosso and Angello started with their intro edit of the 2010 SHM classic MIAMI 2 IBIZA into an ID edit of the track and it was clear 5 minutes into the set that they would be taking us through EDM history starting with DJs on the forefront of the ever evolving scene like @mph_uk . He came out and dropped Flex It right away to show everyone that he could be taking on the Main Stage by himself pretty soon. Seeing MPH with 50,000 people watching felt like a full circle moment. I’ve been saying he’ll be hitting headliner status in no time and he proved he could do it in the 10 minutes he got with SHM. After MPH, @kellyleeowens , @boysnoize , @afrojack , and @armandvanhelden rotated through the stage with Ingrosso and Angello continuing the journey through EDM with Angello’s unreleased version of Where’s Your Head At, Boys Noize’s remix of Fine Day Anthem, @gigamesh ’s remix of Everything In Its Right Place, Pon De Floor (what a throwback), Bonkers and You Don’t Know Me, all leading up to the appearance of Axwell and @ericprydz . When Prydz appeared on stage the energy at the festival changed, it was a historic moment to get the OG Swedish House Mafia back on stage and everyone knew it. Starting with Turn On The Lights into Pjanoo into Leave The World Behind, it was a mashup of SHM and Prydz history with the track that keeps the kids knowing their legendary status. These tracks sum up the night, the classics that proved SHM and Prydz from the late 2000s mixed with one of the most popular songs of the last few years that SHM co-produced. As Axwell said many times (him on the mic is an integral part of an SHM and he was on it all night) it was all love at Ultra. They showed their love for the classics while showing they’re still on the forefront of EDM. One of my favorite DJs playing a remix of one of my favorite band’s songs at the @ultra Main Stage. I’m still mad I missed the tour but hearing @kellyleeowens drop @gigamesh ’s remix of Everything In It’s Right Place with @swedishhousemafia is the only thing that has given me solace from losing the ticket war for @radiohead . I can’t explain how much hearing this at @ultra meant to me after listening to this track since 8th grade. Watching this from the top of the Ultra sign is one of many moments from this week I’ll never forget. We could not have envisioned a better end to Miami Music Week. @maxstyler going b2b @camelphatmusic , The Chain Room at @factorytown_ , completely soaked from an hour of torrential downpours, swimming in inches of standing water, and the Special Issues Mashup of NYP2 and Sweet Disposition. It was the experience of a lifetime and we are forever in debt to Max and Camelphat for that set. It has been 155 days since @johnsummit first played his and @woolimusic ’s remix of @badgalriri ’s “Where Have You Been” at his Folsom Field set and we’re still asking for it. After he dropped it last night at @expertsonly Vail, we thought it would be an appropriate time to mention that we are still patiently waiting for it to come out. It’s insane how well Rihanna’s vocals fit into a dubstep track, we need her to clear this banger.
