Allow us to introduce to you, our good friend and The Showdown’s ✨C H I E F A M B A S S A D O R✨Hunter Tilbury from California! Hunter will oversee all ambassadors for The Showdown and we are so excited to welcome him to North Carolina. Here’s a little bit more about him. ➡️ When did you start country dancing? ✨I started country dancing back in June 2023 with @topshelfdancing . ➡️ What do you love most about attending country dance events? ✨The part that I enjoy most are the connections and friendships that are created through these events. I can’t even count the amount of people that I have met through country dancing. ➡️ Why do you want to come to the showdown? ✨Personally for me, I had a lot of regret not attending the last two volumes of the showdown. One this will give me an opportunity to meet a lot more of the east coast dance community. Second, it’ll be my first time in North Carolina. 😁 ➡️ What does it mean to you to be in this role? ✨ This role is very important to not only myself but also my community. As a community leader it is important to demonstrate the characteristics in which we expect our students, peers, and mentors to uphold. This event will be another opportunity to represent and expand positivity for the country swing community. Super blessed and thankful for this opportunity.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a competition prep intensive this Saturday, December 6th!!! We will be going over the categories that we are judged on such as timing and technique. Along with some of our personal competition strategies that we use to give us the best chance of advancing during each of the rounds!!!
