On August 7, The Cinema of Architectural Estrangement—presented by d.talks (
@dtalks_calgary ) for Design Week Calgary 2025—invited audiences to experience the built environment through the lens of film. This four-hour program combined screenings and conversations that uncovered the strange, overlooked, and unseen architectures that so often hide in plain sight.
