Irie morning on Busua Beach
While travelling down the Ghanaian coastline towards the Ivery Coast, I had been told about a little bay called Dixcove which had a beautiful stretch of beach, surf and a friendly village.
After staying the night at a rusta eco lodge, Green Zion Garden, I walked along the narrow jungle path eventually arriving at the beach where had I had the pleasure of meeting the boys at the @justices_brothers surf centre.
There are so amazing stories of people living off the land and making the most of the natural beauty and environment that they are blessed with. .

AN EARLY MORNINGS RETURN

It is common practice in Ghana that the fishermen set sail in the early hours of the morning, and return just after dawn.
On this particular morning, there was a heavy mist just off of the coast..
.
Without navigation equipment, the fishermen on the boat, Melvin, had to cautiously navigate solely by compass as any landmarks along the coastlime were shrouded by mist.

Located directly east of the Korle Lagoon, Jamestown and Usshertown are the oldest districts of Accra, Ghana and emerged as communities around the 17th century British James Fort and Dutch Ussher Fort on the Gulf of Guinea coast.

Swampy is an EOD specialist, currently training the local police and civilian volunteers to detect, identify, dispose of Russian EOD’s
Explosive Ordnance Disposal is a crucial part of the Ukrainian governments efforts to neutralise further Russian harm to both civilian life and agricultural land.
Swampy is Ex-British Army and was first over training Ukrainians soldiers in 2014, and then again since the beginning of the invasion in February.
Swampy is currently running multiple volunteer based programs in order to supply his regiment, as all of their equipment comes from patrons and is 100% donation based

Yao is a volunteer within the Ukrainian Volunteer Corps, who has recently left the Taiwanese armed forces to join the war efforts.
Like many volunteers, Yao felt the need to stand in solidarity, yet for him, the war hits home more than most. Even from the early days of the conflict, many analysts understood the parallels between Russias imperialistic claim to Ukraine and that of the China and Taiwan under the one China policy.
When I met Yao, he was helping new recruits find placements within the various groups of Ukraines volunteer militia. Though younger than most military personal I met, he showed impeccable focus and commitment to the cause.
