scraping the barrel no.2 (2024) - made this ages ago but then had to abruptly move. If you’ve seen me perform, you might have seen some version of it - I keep changing the legs cos I’m indecisive and silly. #diyinstruments

Join us on the 15th October for an evening of music created using DIY, experimental instruments. With solo sets from Willow Swan and David Sappa, and a trio performance from <3 (Lene Tassin de Montaigu, Déas McMorrow, and Harry Bix. Tickets £8-12 sliding scale via @thehorsehospital website. -- Willow Swan is a sound artist based in London. Their work centers on long-form composition, acoustic phenomena, and the durational possibilities of drone. Working primarily with pipe organ, field recordings, and minimal processing, Swan explores harmonic instability, resonance, and texture through restrained, process-driven structures. -- David Sappa is an experimental musician working through kinetic sound objects & improvisational environments, field recording + extended listening practices They’re interested in sound for its tactile, textural and somatic qualities, and as modes for interrelatedness and interplay that can explore dynamics between our social, psychological and material entanglements within different environments. -- <3 is a collaboration between Lene Tassin (Downgraded/Lene Otis Finn), Déas McMorrow (Tarantula), and Harry Bix. Handmade harp homemade text.
