Introducing KIBŌ A new body of work I’ll be exhibiting at @filet_space in Hoxton, London With drinks for the private view courtesy of @kanpailondon This work comes from my time spent in Japan at the start of 2026. Observing light, colour, tone and space. I was drawn to quiet moments, passing scenes and subtle atmospheres - the in between spaces where stillness and movement coexist. Being there left me with a sense of kibō (希望) - a quiet, enduring hope for the future and for the subjects I encountered along the way. There was a quiet optimism in everyday interactions, in the way light moved through the streets and in the balance between solitude and connection. These photographs reflect that feeling, an attempt to hold onto something fleeting yet deeply felt. I return to these images as fragments of my memory - pauses in time that continue to resonate. Hope to see you all there! Oli 🧡🧡🧡

Announcing upcoming exhibition <Home Scanning: Library Mothership Moves into Filet> (@filet_space ) from 25th April — 2nd May. Exhibition <Home Scanning> invites you to browse & scan any of the Mothership book. (See slides) ——— “The entire home has now become a kind of office”. (Jack Self) The exhibition consists of 48 quiet reading & scanning sessions throughout the event. The audience will be scanning the space with their eyes. I will be scanning the images and pages with a scanner for you. Moving all parts of the boat, aka Library Mothership, from my flat into Filet is the artwork. (Ship of Theseus ver.2.0, can a boat float if you transplant every part of it?) The artist (me) dwelling, working, interacting in the transplanted home for 7 days is the endurance performance. Transgressing the boundary between personal space and the public realm is dangerous, and takes courage. It’s like social media, suddenly my lived interiors and I are open to be peeked into, to be judged, to be interpreted, to be shared. ——— 🛩️HOURS🛩️ SAT 25 Apr 3–7pm SUN 26 Apr 11am–6pm MON 27 Apr 11am–6pm TUE 28 Apr 12–6pm WED — SAT 29-2 May 11-6pm. 🛩️Appointment needed, book via [email protected] or DM 🛩️@filet_space Filet, 103 Murray Grove, London, N1 7QP ——— Performance, design, production by @athenamothership Special thanks to @rutbleesluxemburg and @filet_space @yihao_zhang0222 #librarymothership @library_mothership

Please join us on Thursday, 9th of April, for the opening of “Dear All,” featuring the works of 130 individuals at FILET @filet_space , London. Dear All, (2023–) is an ongoing archive built around cassette cases filled by strangers, colleagues, friends, and partners. The project creates a map of interpersonal networks, both past and present, and across cultural intersections, both local and international. Dear All, has traveled from Kanazawa to Ghent and to New York. Each exhibition is site-specific, shaped by the people and environment of the city it takes place in. This growing archive and the site-specific installations accompanying it, will continue to show itself across borders and time as an ode to human connection and relationships. Kind regards, Shino Matsuura, Leanne Ghesquiere & Mees Noordzij Special thanks to Antoine @yuxyak for helping with the design of the promotional material Thursday 9 April 5-8pm Friday 10 April 1-8pm Saturday 11 April 1-8pm FILET, 103 Murray Grove, London, N1 7QP, UK.

Excited to present my first solo exhibition at @filet_space , a space for experimental art production founded by Rut Blees Luxemburg and Uta Kögelsberger. Co-curated by @melaniemanchot , the exhibition brings together selected works from Palamas Reframed (2025) and Awe (2023), two photographic series looking at the home as a site where sociopolitical forces surface during environmental crises, when domestic interiors are abruptly exposed to the public sphere. Opening: 12 March, 6–8 pm Exhibition: 12–14 March 2026 @filet_space 103 Murray Grove, N1 7QP

What is the conjuncture? That is the question we've been exploring together in our reading groups, drawing from Gramsci, Hall, Camp and Hart, and through recent sonic experiments, radio broadcasts and collective discussions; we are now excited to announce our group exhibition ‘In Conjuncture’ at FILET Space @filet_space in London, taking place between 20-22 February 2026. Seeking ways through the cacophony of global crises, we will collectively reveal the conjuncture points of our disparate practices and explore the distinctive shape of the societal conditions we currently find ourselves in, while ruminating on the possibilities for social change — the difficulties, successes, and sometimes frustrations of finding ways to work “in conjuncture” as the self-led School of the Damned. Please join us for the social opening of ‘In Conjuncture’ on 20 February from 6-8:30pm — we look forward to welcoming you all to this event! ~ Image descriptions; an event poster with a depiction of ‘the lustful in flames’, Purgatorio XXV. The illumination is from Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy (c. 1477-1482 AD) and shows the seventh terrace of Purgatory transforming into a single living substance; floating heads, half-submerged in dense, curling sea of red fire, cliffs in the background (info taken from @archeologyart ). Next to this image is an image of a car burning and someone standing on top of it, layered above both images is a venn diagram marking a shape and a text indicating YOU ARE HERE, as well as information about the exhibition, such as date, times and the exhibition name and SOTD symbol.
