this accompanies a critique of a 1980s tennis book which purported to satirize Frued, while actually making a bunch of tasteless jokes about tennis as it relates to homosexuality and misogyny.
on reflection, i'm not sure the cut-out creating "FREUD / FRAUD" combined with the dick-and-balls joke adequately reflects the sharpness of the author's critique of the book, but I have become attached to this ramshackle concept, and I am extremely grateful to @dshaftel for not just bringing me along into a new era of tennis publication, but for enabling me, too.

my first for @washingtonpost , from early August 2024, for an article about a man running for mayor of the capital of Wyoming who pledged to make all of his decisions based on outputs from an AI bot. a fascinating and deeply stupid situation! he ended up drastically losing the election, but what a future we have to look forward to!

NEW ZINE: "Appetite" debuting at TCAF 2024 (that's this weekend, Sat. May 10 + 11, more details below)
"Appetite" was printed by @videpress ; 13 riso colours across 20 pages, 1-3 colours per page. More importantly, this is the first real narrative I've written in 6 or 7 years, and I am very proud to crawl closer to a synthesis between this ridiculous method of using the risograph, and actually telling a story.

TCAF ( @torontocomics ) is this weekend at the Toronto Reference Library, Saturday May 10th from 9am-5pm, and Sunday May 11th from 10am-5pm. I am at table 2010. for those familiar with TCAF, i am not in "the room," but instead closer to the elevators
