Advisory🍇 Exhibitor 大庭大介 Daisuke Ohba @daisukeohba 1981年静岡県生まれ。画家。2007年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科油画研究領域修了。絵画を「場」と捉え、「絵画＝セカイ」を創造する。 「関係、偶然性、光、次元、行為」を手がかりに、東洋と西欧の絵画の歴史的手法を横断することにより絵画史を再考する。 自作の描画道具と、光により色彩が変化しつづける偏光顔料やホログラム顔料、地球外のマテリアルである隕石から抽出した絵具、 古代の顔料など、特殊な絵具を用い、過去、現在、未来の時間軸の創造を試みる。 それらは、必然性と偶然性を共存させた独自の方法論をもとに、私たちの目前で起こる多様な現象を構成するセカイを創造する。 Daisuke Ohba is a painter. He was born in 1981 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He majored in Painting and earned his MFA (oil painting research field) from Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2007. He sees painting as a ‘place’ and creates painting as the ‘Sekai (universe surrounding us)’. Ohba seeks to reconsider the history of painting by traversing the historical painting methods of the East and the West. Keys to guide him through his journey are concepts like relationship, contingency, light, dimension and action. He attempts to create the time axes of past, present and future using special paints, self-made paints and painting tools, ranging from polarizing and holographic pigments that keep changing their hues by the change of light and the viewers’ motion, to paint of which color was extracted from meteorites (an extraterrestrial substance), to ancient pigments and other earthly minerals.
