Today we put our new RGB TVs to the test by using them to display bespoke pieces by Australian artist @daimon_downey . Known for his use of colour, texture and energy, guests were blown away by how vivid and bright the colours translated on screen.

Colour plays a central role in Daimon Downey’s latest body of work. Working with timber, acrylic and resin, Downey builds luminous surfaces where colour becomes both structure and sensation.
Influenced by decades immersed in music, he approaches colour like frequency. Each hue is carefully calibrated against another, creating moments of harmony where rhythm settles into stillness and joy quietly emerges.

Multi-platform artist Daimon Downey presents a new body of work shaped by the philosophy of Albert Camus, where joy becomes a conscious act within an irrational world.
Across geometric landscapes and distilled figures, rhythm shifts into colour and equilibrium replaces chaos. Drawing on memories of Bellingen and decades immersed in music with Sneaky Sound System, Downey positions peace as something intentionally constructed.
