I can’t believe it’s been 4 months since we started the renovations on the trailer. This was my Dad and I’s second build together, after a van we converted 4 years ago!
Coming into it I was really excited to create this cafe concept, but I also just wanted to spend time with my Dad.
Dad’s always been so amazing at teaching me how to build things, and cares about the details. He’s taught me a lot about being there for people when they need you and caring for family and community.
Thanks Dad for helping Dads come to life! ✨🐬
week 10 of dads! ✨ ten whole weeks of making more coffees than we can count, mya making a crazy amount of hand whisked matchas, meeting new people and creating this community. it’s gone so quickly and it’s been so much fun.
this week we had new donut flavours (all of the donuts sold out so more coming your way this week!), met new faces and enjoyed the beautiful sunny autumn weather. ☀️

one year ago we hosted a home cafe with our friends, to launch the idea of dads
we didn’t know exactly where it would go at the time, we’d just built the branding, thought it was fun and wanted to host something cute and wholesome
one year later, we have a physical location, with a cute and wholesome community. really crazy to look back on these old photos to see what we turned it into :)

thank you to everyone who came by over the past week, this was our busiest week ever 💙 we met so many new people, had our first easter egg hunt (same time same place next year?) and can’t wait to get back out again this week.
