You may know him as Daddy Yaz, or Yasser Al-Zahrani, either way he is a man who wears many hats. The Jeddah based creative is insisting on cultivating a space for young creatives in Saudi, making sure a lack of resources is not an excuse. He is one of the minds behind Sindbad, a collective in Jeddah curating cultural events, panels and exhibitions. Yasser wants to create communities and discourage ostracising anyone from the art scene through gatekeeping.
