Attention friends, DACHA will be closed on Sunday, May 31st. Not because we’re taking a day off, but because we’re taking a day together. From the beginning, DACHA was never meant to be just a restaurant or catering company. It’s one part of a much larger vision: creating spaces where queer people, our neighbors, our guests, and our team members feel safe, welcomed, celebrated, and cared for - while helping shape a more compassionate and community-centered hospitality industry. The Tiburon Pride Picnic is an extension of that vision beyond our four walls and into the community where we live. It’s a chance to gather in the open air, celebrate Pride together, and create the kind of joyful, affirming experiences we want to see more of in the world. And this is only the beginning - we have many more community gatherings and experiences planned for the future (continuing with Queer Prom on June 12th!). Lesbian Visibility Day feels a little different here. DACHA was never just about food or drinks. As a woman- and LGBTQ-owned space, Katya and Suki built something not everyone finds so easily.
