What an amazing opportunity, thanks a bunch @hoer.berlin . To try to tell a story and to take you through the different phases of my musical interests over the last two years within one hour was a great challenge. This journey went beyond entertaining a crowd, and hopefully brought you along a journey through my musical world. Plus closing with a track by the late Jun Fukamachi was special. What a dream it was to play at my favourite dance floor in the world! This was really my love letter to music, which is just such a huge part of my life and always has been. Thank you @enzio_etchaberri for giving me this opportunity, despite not having thousands of instagram followers or being a big name. I also realllllly loved being sandwiched in between two other amazing female artists (@kluntje__ and @ellialtenberger ) who wouldn’t?! Plus seeing so many other women on the lineup was so good to see. I wanted to thank @its_just_allan_ and the @four32.am guys for creating one of my favourite wintergarten moments when they played ‘Amy’ by Giralda (I played this one for you), and making me fall in love with eerie house tracks. Also super appreciate your support... I’m also trying to send a message with my music, since I think music is one of the best vehicles to transfer messages. If you want to take anything away from my mix, listen to the lyrics of my opening track (Man of Science - @djlucalozano about the dangers of having access to a ridiculous amount of unverified information online, and to the track at 2:35:00 (What’s Next - @sweely_music ), about how changing the role you play in your own life can change your entire perspective on things. My favourite lyrics: ‘when you go with the flow, the world comes out to meet you’ and ‘the moment you transform from victim to participant, you become the artist of your life’. These are tracks that have given me a lot of insight and really left a deep impression. Well, these were a lot of words!
