Special one! I’ve been a fan of these guys for a long time and think it’s amazing that we get to host them, in collaboration with @adidasoriginals , at the iconic Vondelkerk in Amsterdam.
For our SS24 collection Vol. 2 Gump Story, we took the iconic Forrest Gump movie cover and reimagined it with our Sabbatical friends & fam.

Meet Daan, founder of baskèts and of course his loyal dog Dolly.
Chances are you’ve seen this guy running around Amsterdam for the past 15 years.
What started out as a sneaker shop in 2012 has transformed into three lifestyle stores in Amsterdam that connect classic design with temporary fashion and street style. baskèts also releases its own collection which include seasonal and never-out-of-stock items.
As all of this wasn’t enough, Daan opened up café baskèts this past December. A place where fashion, design but most of all coffee have merged into a wonderful extension of the three baskèts stores.
Knowing him for almost 10 years we’re proud to call this guy not only our friend, but a mentor as well.
Daan gave us a shot with Sabbatical and we’re thankful to have him on our side.
So if you’re not familiair, get familiar, and check out one of the baskèts stores in the Jordaan and the Pijp, and chances are pretty big you will see us there as well ;)
