We gave @samvoltek a Tetrachords beta module very early in development because we love his music and approach to modular. We got some very valuable feedback from Sam which fed into the final production module.
This video is taken a few minutes after we gave him the final production module.
The only sound source is a @1010_music bit box micro which is being fed midi from the 4 tracks of the Tetrachords. Notice the nuance of the drum samples as they are reacting to the Tetrachords velocity algorithm. Tetrachords has become a favourite drum sequencer for velocity sensitive drum machines. The rhythms are being generated from the collection of 4ms clock dividers and multipliers.
Our first @superbooth_berlin done. It was an amazing time hanging out with new and old friends. It was a blast to finally get the whole of cycle instruments (Nick and Josh) in the same continent and share the Tetrachords with everyone at superbooth. Also on the jam going clockwise around the table is @cycle_instruments , @inorganic.audio , @lovesynthesizers , and @genkiinstruments ... All transmitted to the crowd via wireless headphones. We will be doing this every few hours...

The big wheel! When you turn the main encoder on the Tetrachords what you are doing is moving your chord or pattern to a different place in the scale. Kind of like moving your hand up and down the fretboard with a bar chord held down on a guitar. What is really fun is to move between different positions in the scale, say the classic 1-5-6-4 progression, and at the same time change the colour of the chord by adding notes or moving the spread and inversion.
