Massive congratulations to Benton @cycle2save , just 13 years old, for cycling from Lisbon to Faro in just 4 days! 🚴♂️👏
Cycle2Save is raising awareness for regenerative seaweed farming and more sustainable oceans, and Benton represented the mission brilliantly with an incredible effort and attitude throughout the challenge.
Amazing achievement! 🌊💪
343.79 km.
4 rides.
15 hours on the bike.
One mission bigger than the finish line.
Today Benton @cycle2save completed his Hero Kids challenge cycling from Setúbal to Almancil, raising funds for @hopezones.foundation and supporting the growth of regenerative seaweed farming and ocean protection.
What started as an idea inside Hero Kids became a real journey of resilience, purpose and impact. Through heat, hills, tired legs and long days on the road, Benton showed what happens when young people are empowered to protect what they love.
This is more than a cycling challenge.
This is the next generation stepping up for the ocean.
So proud of you Benton. The first challenge is complete, and this is only the beginning.
Day 2 of cycling 300km for the ocean floor 🌊🚴♂️
88km done today, on Sir @davidattenborough birthday, one of the greatest voices our planet has ever had and a huge inspiration behind this ride.
Halfway there now. Legs feeling it, but the cause keeps us moving.
Day 1 check: 72 km done. Full power, full purpose, and the adventure has officially begun.

Benton is about to set off on a 300km ride along the Portuguese coast to help raise funds for regenerative seaweed farms with Hope Zones Foundation.
Before heading off, Hope Zones co-founder João Macedo came down to wish him luck and talk all things seaweed farming, ocean restoration, and why projects like this matter.
