everybody brought homemade dishes inspired by nostalgic fast food meals, from childhood favorites to creatively reimagined comfort food. we spent the afternoon sharing recipes, talking about the ideas behind each dish, eating together, then turning the tables into a full zine-making session afterwards.

this Saturday, may 16 the cyber ox is hosting @readitneatitclub ! they’ll be hosting their monthly cookbook club at the ox. this month’s theme is: fast food dupes
following their meeting come hang at cyber ox for a nostalgic food-themed zine workshop from 5-6:30pm
we’ll be cutting, collaging, writing, and building little worlds inspired by childhood snacks, family recipes, late night meals, grocery store memories, and all things food nostalgia. all materials provided
this is a separate ticket from the read it and eat it cookbook club meeting/potluck. attendance for the cookbook club must be reserved through their page.

As a reminder we are a cookbook club, all dishes must come from a written recipe. That can be from a book your own/borrowed, a family or online recipe. ♥️
