Thank you to everyone who joined us for CVUHSD’s 7th Annual Safety Summit, an initiative led by Board President Hugo Rojas to bring district, school, labor, public safety, and community leaders together around safety and emergency preparedness.
This year’s theme, Community Emergency Preparedness, focused on strengthening collaboration and sharing important resources to help our schools and communities prepare for emergency situations.
A special thank you to our presenters from the American Red Cross, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and Hawthorne Police Department, as well as our civic, education, labor, student, and public safety partners who joined us for this important conversation.
Together, we remain committed to keeping our students, staff, families, and community safe.
