I originally wrote a way longer post but this is the shorter version. There are many more things to say than you will read. But this is not the place to tell them all and maybe it is not even really necessary. I actually know Alessio since a long time and he saw me growing up we can say. He has been the pivot figure for us (me and Francesco @vsk_series ) to start moving in the music industry as DJs, producers and label owners. He was there during the toughest time of my life and together with very few other friends and family members contributed to my survival, maybe literally. I’ll never forget about endless chats, endless Skype calls, the dinners at my parents with him and all the CRS Recordings gang listening to his stories about life in Berlin and talking about music and many more little and big things happening at that time. He was there in 2012 when, at the end of that time lasted 3 years I spent my first week in Berlin, making a little dream come true, also thanks to his sweet half Lizzy. Then many things happened and ups and downs started as he said more than once, but we are still here sharing love and passion for the same thing after years. Key Vinyl 001 was my very first vinyl release 13 years ago and so today this marks an important milestone in my life, and I couldn’t be more happy to see that my music involved in this life episode has been the soundtrack of so many joyful moments, for so many of you out there, straight outta my studio through the hands, taste and mind of Alessio. When you buy it you are putting a real little piece of me (and him I guess) in your record bag. Those grooves tell you about a true story. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the huge love already showed. And thank you @freddyk3614 for making it real and timeless. ❤️

Next up in the EMERALD Studio Pack series is techno veteran Conrad Van Orton. He has been actively releasing music since 2012 and built his own analog mixing and mastering studio in Rome, Lambda Room Studio, where he also runs a coaching program. Drawing on years of experience, he has now created his first sample library. A collection of powerful, clean and uniquely processed sounds. Conrad built the library with recordings coming from the Korg Minilogue xd, Nord Lead 2x, Behringer Pro-1, Behringer ARP 2600, Behringer MS-1, Roland TR8 and a variety of percussion ensembles sampled here and there in the web. Furthermore he processed the sounds with his Elektron Analog Heat, Waldorf 2-Pol, Lexicon Mpx 100, Alesis MidiVerb 2, Alesis QuadraVerb and digitally processed using Ableton Live with Unfiltered Audio Silo, DS Tantra, D16 Sigmund and Output Portal. INTRODUCING THE ARTIST: CONRAD VAN ORTON @cvo1 is a Rome-based artist crafting a unique sound by blending his musical roots with Detroit and Berlin techno. His journey began with his parents’ record collection, 90s Italian hip-hop, and radio broadcasts, further fueled by Daft Punk’s “homework.” After a sound experimentation workshop and meeting VSK, he dedicated himself to techno, releasing on labels like 3OD and Attic Music. His productions are deep, immersive soundscapes influenced by Detroit, house, and Berlin techno. His performances are sensory experiences beyond DJing. On March 28 he brings his vision at @tillatec .
