Behind every great meal is a team — and behind this one is leadership rooted in service. Chef Brian Etheredge and his crew have spent years showing up for Maui, cooking with purpose and intention. For over two years, they fed our houseless community three meals a day/seven days a week, while continuing to work alongside local fishers and farmers to honor island-grown and island-caught food. In the wake of the fires, Chef Brian also helped establish (with a team of dedicated industry leaders) the Maui Wedding Association, bringing the industry together to rebuild one of Maui’s most vital economic pillars. That work continues as Maui prepares to host Engage Summit, one of the most sought-after wedding summits in the world — a powerful step toward recovery and global reconnection. Beyond the kitchen, Brian serves on boards including the Maui Food Bank, helping shape food security efforts across the island.
