Mix 010 is here: six hours of pure bliss, by our very own @currents______ . We travel back in time a bit to the moment @kohese_ reached out and asked us if we would like to do a hosting with CASCADE at @clubpaap . We were a bit overwhelmed, but mostly grateful and excited about how quickly this offer came to the table, as we had released our first ever CASCADE mix only 2 days prior. We didn't have to think about it for too long though and started planning how our hosting should sound, look and feel.. To make fantasies into reality, we teamed up with @nieuwemaker , who supplied us with a solid amount of custom built "Pixel Mini's" (slide 6) and helped us think through a light plan and floor layout. Later on, @raveplan stepped in and dialed in their sound system to perfection. With all that done, we were ready to take on our first hosting and the result was an absolute 10/10 - iykyk! We've been sitting on this recording for a while now, and decided CASCADE 010. would be a nice milestone moment to release this recording: a beautiful journey through vibes and energies. As the CASCADE community grows, we finally touch down in our hometown. The Summer Gathering represents what CASCADE is: a collective mindset through music. As a homage to our community, we’ve invited artists close to us. We welcome anyone who’s curious to come by, connect, and have a dance. Music provided by friends, food provided by family, and the party provided by YOU. With the pressure on so many parties & venues and eventually people's wallets, we hope to keep the spirit alive and accesible to everyone by offering affordable tickets, -food and -drinks without having to compromise on sound quality and musical excellence. Tonights the night(morning)! Going to weekenders has a special place in out heart, they always carry a special energy, like time doesn’t exist. Early morning dancers with fresh energy among the all nighter warriors always creates something magical.
