🎉 Celebrate the launch of Singapore Screening Spaces at The Capitol.
📖 This image-rich volume documents archives and affection—charting nearly half a century of Singapore’s film screening spaces, from the arrival of the first travelling cinema in 1896 to the resumption of screenings after WWII. Drawn from an extensive private collection of printed materials, the book pays tribute to our film pioneers while illuminating the theatres that shaped our cinematic memory.

📚 Stay on for book signings and receive complimentary postcards featuring photographs of past cinemas from Han Min’s collection.
Come celebrate the spaces where stories were once projected—and the histories that continue to shape how we gather to watch 🎬

We worked with Currency to get the acetate print to line up perfectly with the exposed bind cover. Even a tiny misalignment shows, so it took a lot of patience and careful adjustments. Tricky as it was, seeing it finally click into place made it all worth it.

👥 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 was conceived as a small, playful gesture to commemorate ten years of our creative practice. Starting close to home, it became a visual study made up of over 300 machine-generated portraits. Guided by text prompts, the project reconstructs a visual index of Singaporean physiognomic archetypes associated with identity cards, visas, work permits, school documentation, and similar everyday uses.
👩🏻💼The project draws from the immediate surroundings of our studio at Lavender Street, near the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority. Looking around our neighbourhood, we became interested in the dense network of photo-taking services, visa counters, and photocopy shops that quietly form a local system where identities are captured, processed, and normalised on a daily basis.
👨🏾💼Rather than focusing on individual likeness, the project examines repetition and structure. It looks at the aesthetics of administrative portraits and their close resemblance to images found in real estate listings, graduation posters, and professional credentials. This earnest, utilitarian, and unself-conscious visual vernacular became the conceptual and aesthetic foundation for the project.
🧑🏻💼Taken together, the portraits function as both a record and a proposition. 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 reflects on how faces are standardised into data, how images become proof, and how a shared visual grammar of legitimacy is produced through routine processes.
The visual identity for Ho Tzu Nyen: Time & the Tiger, co-organised between the Singapore Art Museum and Art Sonje Center, and its accompanying publication extends the exhibition’s exploration of temporality, structure, and perception into typographic and material form. Developed through Metaflop, the typography-driven identity modulates across three custom weights — Regular, Time, and Tiger — whose shifting proportions and apertures mirror Ho’s fascination with transformation, multiplicity, and geometric form, notably the hexagon and rhombicuboctahedron that recur throughout his practice as metaphors for structure in flux.
The typography carries this sensibility of movement and tension, poised between clarity and distortion, while the publication’s UV-printed finish overlays the contact sheets of Ho’s video works, where each frame accumulates into a sequence of time and image. The UV layer refracts light and shadow, recalling the glow of Japanese shōji-like screens within the exhibition. Together, these gestures form a visual language that mirrors the atmospheric density of Ho’s cosmology — where image, myth, and structure fold endlessly into one another.
What began as sparks around an open flame has taken years of iterations to settle into its form. Today, @jungle.thai on Ann Siang Hill is awarded a Bib Gourmand — recognition for fire, flavour, and the journey that shaped it. 🌿🍴🥂🏆🔥🥩🌶️

Meet ❄️ ISO Aircon — a legacy brand in every sense. Started in 1992 by a family-run business determined to make comfort accessible, ISO has grown into a trusted name in aircon service across Singapore.
In 2022, amidst post-COVID recovery, we worked with ISO’s second generation to reimagine their brand for a new chapter and clientele — one that honours their quiet dedication and the community they serve daily.
They remind us: legacy doesn’t shout. It shows up, day after day. Small business is big business. Especially when it’s built like this. ☃️🔥

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺 03: The Keafe Cut
@keeafe joined us fresh 👶🏻 — before NS, before the polish of a finished portfolio, but with a lot of curiosity and drive.
He documented everything:
🌀 How to start unsure, but still start
🧩 Why breaking rules works best when you know them
😵 What perseverence feels like when things get real
💪 How to still land something solid you’re proud of
Designed and achieved 100% by Keafe himself.

Curriculum is our BTS of real design work: our ongoing look into what creative process really feels like — messy, revealing, and always evolving — the part schools leave out.
