Hey Dad, It’s been a month since you’ve left. I still remember our conversations about opening a café together, trying new bars and restaurants in the future, and discussing about Arne Slot’s Liverpool doubts. Whenever I think of you, the first thing that comes to mind is your warmth. You had this incredible way of making everyone feel loved and cared for, always carrying yourself with calmness and grace. You could connect with anyone, anywhere, making friends so effortlessly and leaving a lasting impression on everyone you met. And of course, you weren’t just about warmth. You were also the king of terrible dad jokes. You had a gift for delivering the lamest punchlines, and somehow, they always made us laugh. Whether it was eating wings, walking along Orchard Road, or browsing shoes online, you knew how to turn even the simplest moments into something fun. You filled our home with laughter, dancing ridiculously or pulling one of your pranks on me. Humour was your way of showing love, and we all felt it deeply. But beyond the jokes, it was your heart that truly stood out. You weren’t perfect, but you were the perfect dad for me. You embraced every quirky part of yourself, never trying to be anyone but you, and I admired that so much. I’ll miss the warmth you brought to every room, your jokes, and the way you made every moment special. But I’ll carry that spirit with me, remembering that life’s too short not to be happy. Thank you, Dad, for your love, your laughter, and all the beautiful memories. Thank you for being my partner in crime for these amazing 19 years. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
