I met Isosa in 2011โฆ
but we didnโt speak until 2012, back in university. He asked me out then,
but I was focused,books over everything.
So I said no.He tried,he was persistent,
but I just wasnโt ready.
By 2013, life happened. School ended, and we both went our separate ways. Years later, in August 2020,
his name popped up on my phone again.
A simple message that turned into something more. We started talking, catching up and then he said something I didnโt take seriously at firstโฆ
โI want to marry you.โ I laughed. Every time. Because I thought he was joking.
But he wasnโt.In December 2020, we saw each other again and everything felt different.
By Easter 2021, he took me to meet his mom who already knew me from years before.And in that moment it all made sense. What I once said no to,
life brought back to me in the most beautiful way.
And now, here we are. ๐ค
